The hotel is conveniently located near a charming street that leads to the historic city center of Durango. While Durango itself is small, it boasts some beautiful historical buildings, pleasant squares with nice bars and restaurants, and a lot of atmosphere. The breakfast at the hotel was simply outstanding, offering a wide variety of options: classic pastries, Spanish elements, healthy foods, and fresh fruit. The hotel also has a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. The staff was exceptional: friendly and proactive. The swimming pool was quiet enough during our stay to enjoy it. The wellness and fitness areas are very well equipped. For cyclists who want to enjoy the fantastic routes in the Pays Basque, the hotel also provides a room to store your bike safely, with easy access. We had a dream vacation."

The hotel was in a perfect location for us as we had come off the ferry in bilbao with a small trailer and the hotel had parking. We easily were able to travel I to bilbao on train. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable and clean, though no tea/coffee facility there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is in a quiet location but easy to dander into town for some pintxos and beer! Lovely stay. Thank you.

The staff were very helpful on arrival, speaking English much better than our Spanish.😊We spent one night there, what an experience in this lovely four star hotel, loved to have stayed another night but we were travelling through Spain towards France on motorcycles. The location is good for the town restaurants/bars and the overall experience of staying there was one of luxury and comfort. 🙂
