"Our superior room with a view was excellent—very spacious and impeccably clean, with a view of Durango. The hotel is conveniently located near a charming street that leads to the historic city center of Durango. While Durango itself is small, it boasts some beautiful historical buildings, pleasant squares with nice bars and restaurants, and a lot of atmosphere. The breakfast at the hotel was simply outstanding, offering a wide variety of options: classic pastries, Spanish elements, healthy foods, and fresh fruit. The hotel also has a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. The staff was exceptional: friendly and proactive. The swimming pool was quiet enough during our stay to enjoy it. The wellness and fitness areas are very well equipped. For cyclists who want to enjoy the fantastic routes in the Pays Basque, the hotel also provides a room to store your bike safely, with easy access. We had a dream vacation."

The hotel was in a perfect location for us as we had come off the ferry in bilbao with a small trailer and the hotel had parking. We easily were able to travel I to bilbao on train. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The room was comfortable and clean, though no tea/coffee facility there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is in a quiet location but easy to dander into town for some pintxos and beer! Lovely stay. Thank you.

It's a beautiful hotel with a very kind, helpful staff. The hotel is kept spotless. The hotel has a calm, relaxing air about it. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, but eye somewhat outdated.

Lovely hotel - we had the suite with a balcony. The room was excellent with bath & shower. 2 TVs . Cleaned daily.

Staff very good and helpful. Property location a bit difficult to find without satnav. Local area interesting to walk round--old and picturesque.

Pool & outdoor area lovely; free on street parking; clean comfortable rooms; we used the spa on a grey day & it was a real treat; efficient reception staff; Durango the town was a lovely surprise, we enjoyed exploring it.

In thThis was a lovely hotel Doesn't have a lot of grounds to it Everything is towards the front of the hotel The room was really nice and the beds were very comfortable but it could have had some bottled water and glasses 🥂 in the room The reception staff and restaurant staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful, it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, The town is beautiful and vibrant, very lively Everything is reasonably priced with lots of lovely shops for the ladies 😉 😊 The train and bus station are all around 10 minutes walking from the hotel and travel is very reasonable in price The hotel is about 35 minutes drive from Bilbao and around 40 minutes drive from the airport .

A very comfortable 4* hotel. The staff are kind, helpful and considerate. The hotel is lovely and comfortable. The pool is amazing. We didn't try the spa or gym but I feel that they would have been superb as well. The hotel was picturesque but with all modern requirements. Situated in the middle of Durango, it is well positioned to explore the town on foot and is also minutes to a beach by car.
